Landscape Artwork

My landscape paintings begin with the colours, patterns and small details I notice while walking through the British countryside. From woodland paths to open fields, I find inspiration almost everywhere I go.

Original Landscape Artwork

I have always loved landscape painting and the way nature creates its own unexpected compositions. On my walks, I notice shifting colours, repeating shapes, textured bark, fallen leaves and tangled plants.

My textile design background also influences how I see pattern, balance and rhythm within the landscape. Sometimes, one small detail can inspire an entirely new painting or collection. However, I am not interested in copying a view exactly.

Instead, I respond to its atmosphere, colour and structure in my own way. I often bring home seed heads, leaves and other natural finds. They become reminders of a walk, a season or a fleeting moment worth capturing.

I am represented by a select group of galleries across the UK. My paintings are regularly included in gallery collections and exhibitions. Recent highlights include The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle and my Clover wallpaper collaboration with Standen House National Trust. I have also shown work at Aldeburgh Museum in Suffolk.

A small number of my original artworks may also be available through my galleries. To discover where I am currently exhibiting, see forthcoming shows and explore recent collaborations, visit the Exhibitions page.
