In the summer months I feel very lucky to live where I do because I live on the North Downs where the chalky soil is wonderful for growing lavender and we have some massive organic lavender fields. Mayfield Lavender field is just next to my studio. Every year I paint it. I don’t find it easy painting lavender but enjoy experimenting as I want to show a unique perspective. This painting was painted using mixed media on canvas  and is 80x80cm . It is now sold and so available as a print although I would be happy to paint another……
