Vintage Still life
One of my art greeting cards is my contemporary-still-life-Vintage Still Life . This is my current favourite of several original still life oil paintings . It is currently up on my wall! Jo sells from her studio in Oaks Park in Surrey. Her original art works are also sold online include oil paintings as well as prints.
Her original and contemporary still lifes are painted in oils. They are full of colour and texture with quirky compositions. They have been displayed in several galleries in London and Surrey including Wimbledon Fine Art Gallery SW19, Riverside Art Gallery, Fulham and The New Ashgate Gallery, Farnham. She is a featured artist in Saatchi Still Lifes collection.
Lincolnshire cornfield
In this painting I set out to capture the beautiful golden ochre colour of cornfields at the end of summer. This particular field is a Lincolnshire corn field close to where I stayed on a family holiday. I also love the cow-parsley in the foreground.
West Wittering
This painting is one of my most popular prints. Probably due I think to the subtle duck egg neutral colours and everyone loves West Wittering. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, West Wittering Beach is a large and sandy beach located at the entrance to Chichester Harbour.
Cornish hedgerow
This botanical art print inspired by a Cornish hedgerow. It was my first and still remains my most popular botanical print.
