It’s the perfect size for putting behind a sofa, or a bed or above a piece of furniture. It’s combing two of Jo’s favourite subjects to paint; coastal scenes and seedheads.

A coastal painting with Seedheads
This coastal painting with seedheads was painted in the summer of 2023. It is painted using heavy body acrylic paints on a box canvas 50x70cm. It is inspired by a cliff top walk at Botany Bay, Kent.
Jo loves the UK coastline and favourite spots include the Cornish coast, North Norfolk and Kent ( although there is a lot more UK views to discover). This painting combines two of her favourite things, the coast and seedheads. She loves the various natural forms and colours of seedheads and has produced some botanical paintings and prints. She also uses seedpods as a subject matter when she her STEAM Club, CATS Club.
