This artwork is called Free Spirits and would look wonderful in either a contemporary or traditional setting. It is photographed left to show its versatility, size, how it looks in natural light and how it can fit in with your existing decor. There is a tinge of light brown running through this art piece which adds another interesting feel to the whole piece. It comes alive in the space it is in. Description

Inspiration for my contemporary art birds in sky

This contemporary art birds in sky was inspired by one of my walks in Beddington Park, Wallington. There was a noise overhead and so I looked up and saw a large black bird sitting at the top of a tree watching many others birds flying above. It made me think about how free birds were and how in life many of us want to be free like the birds but have ties that hold us down.

A co-ordinated range

This painting started a small contemporary collection based on the theme skies. It works really well with my bird in sky print – Watching free spirits . The Talented Art Fair team chose this art print birds in sky to be on the inside cover of their March 2020 leaflet.

I trained as a textile designer and have produced a bespoke art cushion and lampshade as matching home furnishings  to create a fantastic interior. Put together this gorgeous artwork and the coordinates to make your home look interior designed. I offer a bespoke service therefore I can accept special orders changing the size and colour to suit.

My contemporary art birds in sky available as a Giclee Print

My contemporary art birds in sky is available as limited edition giclee prints in different colours and sizes.

The word Giclée (“g-clay”), is derived from the French verb gicler meaning “to squirt or spray”. Giclée, is used to describe a fine art digital printing process. 

The print is created using Epson archival pigmented inks printed onto heavyweight matt 230gsm paper. It combines pigment based inks with high quality archival quality paper as a result the prints are of superior quality, light-fastness and stability. The digital printers provide great accuracy and depth of colour. Firstly this ensures faithful reproductions of originals and secondly more  LONGEVITY outlasting a lithographic print by up to six times. They are printed locally by STR Design and Print so please allow a few days from order.   If requested a Certificate of Authentication issued with every fine art print. Jo would also be very happy to discuss and recommend framing options with you.
