Grey and Black Seaside Cushion (grey velvet)
£25.00
This contemporary cushion design is from a seascape painting I have produced. The design has been printed onto luxurious velvet in London and captures the essence of the English sea. The backing fabric is made of black velvet. It is a striking design and available in multiple colourways and sizes.
As an artist inspired by Nature I care for the environment. These bespoke art cushions are made to order which means no unwanted wastage. They are printed in London and then posted back to be turned into cushions by neighbour. A sustainable option is available where the design is printed onto organic cotton and have an up-cycled coordinated backing fabric. These include carefully sourced unwanted velvet curtains, denim jeans, a jumper or fabric remnants.

My coastal collection
This print is one from my coastal collection inspired by Cornish harbours, the Isle of Wight, and the English seaside. These art prints are really beautiful, show my love of nature and quite different from botanical range. I love painting the sea of Cornwall and Isle of Wight, having fun with the contrast between the colours, tones and shapes.
My Bespoke Art Cushions look fantastic in interiors. Using my textile design background I am creating a coordinated range of home furnishings. Match these with other cushions and my botanical artworks to make your home look interior designed. I love beautiful interiors and I am happy to accept special orders changing the size and colour to suit clients tastes.
Textile Designer
I studied printed textile design at Bretton Hall College 1991-1994. Bretton Hall was an arts college set in the grounds of the beautiful Yorkshire Sculpture Park and an affiliate of Leeds University, however it is now a luxury hotel. I sold my fashion fabrics designs to New York, London and Tokyo before working for the French textile house Nobilis in Chelsea, London.
Sustainability
As an artist inspired by Nature I care for the environment. These bespoke art cushions are made to order which means no unwanted wastage. They are printed in London and then posted back to be turned into cushions by me or my neighbour Jean! Therefore they have a low carbon footprint. Ask for the sustainable option ( in notes) and the cushions can be printed onto organic cotton and have an up-cycled coordinated backing fabric. These include carefully sourced and cleaned unwanted velvet curtains, denim jeans, a jumper or fabric remnants.
