Cornish Harbour with Fishing Boats
This original acrylic painting is of Fowey harbour. It is painting onto thick paper and can be either 40x40cm or 40x50cm. I love Cornwall and painting boats in harbours, having fun with the contrast between the colours, tones and shapes.

Cornwall is one of my favourite places.
Its a great pleasure to paint boats in Cornish harbour painting s. I would love to go to Cornwall once a year and spend more time there. What’s not to love? the scenery, the coastline the pasties and the art galleries. I can’t wait to go again. This painting was painted from a photo that I took several years ago. I am not sure if it was Fowey or Mevagissey or possibly somewhere else in Cornwall! Those are two of my favourite towns in Cornwall anyway. I love to paint the fishing boats with the white Cornish cottages in the background. On this painting, I used quite a selective colour palette with this painting and I think it works quite well.
One of the pictures at the top page of my commissions page is a painting of Sennen Cove in Cornwall I painted as a commission. The customers liked my seascape paintings they saw at my Open Studios. They holidayed in the same house overlooking Sennen Cove for many years so it was a very special view to them. It was a joy to do as I love to paint the sea. Please think of me should you wish to have your favourite scene painted. Rather than spending ages searching the net, you can get a work of art that is perfect for you. You can read how to go about it in my blog , How to commission a work of art.
