A neutral minimalist art print of the winter sun lighting up the Norfolk sky

£30.00£45.00

I very much enjoyed making this artwork and others during Lockdown 2. It was art therapy as my dad had recently died. In making this artwork , I wanted to show a winter sun lighting up sky above the brown Norfolk fields.  The prints are available in other sizes and can be framed. Please get in touch if you would like more information.

Description

A neutral minimalist art print of the Norfolk winter sun

In making this neutral minimalist art print I wanted to show a winter sun lighting up sky . I made several artworks with this theme during lockdown 2. They were made whilst thinking about my father who had recently died. I was also thinking about Norfolk, especially my favourite walk that I was missing.

My Free Spirits Collection

This artwork is part on my Free Spirits collection of artworks. It is a collection of poignant works produced in 2019-2021. Many of the works feature birds and coloured skies. They can be seen in my Skies category.

Free Spirits: Loss in Lockdown

This art print was featured in my Free Spirit: Loss in Lockdown exhibition. It took place in April 2021 in my studio 9 in Oaks Park. It was a  joint exhibition between myself and poet Rachel Sambrooks combining art and poetry. The exhibition was a tribute to those lost during the pandemic at a time of limited contact. It includes other works of art and poetry created by other local  artists. Such as Tracey Downing , Ingrid Barber and Claire Chandler from the London Borough of Sutton who had lost loved ones in lockdown.
