Description

My Inspiration for Nonsuch Park with Poppy Seedheads

Nonsuch Park is a beautiful park in the boroughs of Epsom and Ewell and the London borough of Sutton. Henry 8th  built Nonsuch Palace to use as his hunting lodge for the nearby Hampton Court in 1538.It is one of my favourite walks a few miles away from where I live. It provides me with much inspiration for my paintings including my ‘ Lone Tree at Nonsuch’.  It is a large park to walk around and recently I came across another part called Warren Farm. This part of the park is managed by The Woodland Trust and they have create a gorgeous meadow in the summer that has wild planting to attract wildlife.
