Painting Yellow Rapeseed field with cow parsley print
I absolutely love it when the oil seed rape fields come out. It signals spring is on its way. I love the acid green colour that turns almost fluorescent yellow. Coming from Norfolk, most of my paintings are inspired by my walks around the fields close to where my parents live. I have been painting them for thirty years! This original oil painting is 40x40cm on a chunky canvas. I have a few other sizes available also. This painting is party of my Norfolk collection and is currently on show at Park Farm hotel in Hethersett.

Painting Yellow Rapeseed field with cow parsley
This Yellow Rapeseed field with cow parsley is painted with oil paints on a 40x40cm chunky canvas.. It is a scene I paint every year as I am particularly fond of the shade of yellow. So if you would like an original, I have probably got one tucked away somewhere. Many of my paintings are inspired by the countryside I see on my walks either in Norfolk, Surrey, Cornwall. Why not read about my inspiration in my blog ‘In many a walk’?
Yellow Rapeseed Fields
I grew up in Hethersett, a village outside Norwich in Norfolk. As a family we always had dogs so I grew up going for walks in the countryside. Hethersett is surrounded by it. This particular rape field is beside Park Farm Hotel, which is a very nice 4* hotel just outside Hethersett. Presently, this painting is currently on show ( framed) alongside other Norfolk inspired paintings at Park Farm hotel. You can read about this exhibition on my news page.
