Jo Sharpe’s Modern Botanical Paintings and Prints

This pink and green botanical cushion of some gathered seedheads derives from one of my modern botanicals  prints collection.  Firstly, they started  in 2016 with a series inspired by Cornish hedgerows and subsequently many others have followed. These prints are digitally manipulated and moreover really beautiful and innovative however quite different from my natural painting style. Above all, they show how I am inspired by Nature.  Recently, in addition to my prints I have developed them into large paintings and cushions perfect for bringing the outdoors in.

These original contemporary works of art alongside my limited edition  Bespoke Art Cushions look fantastic and fashionable in interiors .  I have used my textile design background to create a coordinating range of home furnishings that makes your home look interior designed. This seedheads design looks great as a cushion in lots of different colourways. I can accept special orders and colour match backgrounds to suit clients tastes. Queen Mary’s Woods

Queen Mary’s Woods are situated in Carshalton Beeches, in North Surrey .  They are particularly beautiful in the summer because Sutton Nature Conservation Volunteers have planted many species of wild flowers and grasses.
