This bespoke floral art cushion’s print is of a painting I made of beautiful Oaks Park meadow painted in silver. It has been printed onto luxurious velvet and is available special order in a variety of sizes. The cushion is one of my favourites as it is is a lovely neutral green grey (silver sage) and looks great anywhere!
As an artist inspired by Nature I care for the environment. These bespoke art cushions are made to order which means no unwanted wastage. They are printed in London and then posted back to be turned into cushions by neighbour. A sustainable option is available where the design is printed onto organic cotton and have an up-cycled coordinated backing fabric. These include carefully sourced unwanted velvet curtains, denim jeans, a jumper or fabric remnants.

This collection started in 2016 with a series inspired by Cornish hedgerows. Although digitally manipulated, these botanical prints are really beautiful, moreover show my love of nature and offer a contrast to my oil paintings. In addition to these prints I am slowly creating coordinating large paintings and limited edition art cushions and lampshades.
My Bespoke Art Cushions look fantastic in interiors. Using my textile design background I am creating a coordinated range of home furnishings. Matching these with my botanical artworks will make your home look interior designed. I love beautiful interiors and love to accept special orders changing the size and colour to suit clients tastes.
I studied printed textile design at Bretton Hall College 1991-1994. Bretton Hall was an arts college set in the grounds of the beautiful Yorkshire Sculpture Park and an affiliate of Leeds University. I sold my designs worldwide before working for the French textile house Nobilis in Chelsea, London.
This bespoke floral art cushion is inspired by the meadow in Oaks Park. Oaks park is situated on the chalky North Surrey Downs near the popular Mayfield Lavender Farm. It is about 10 minutes walk from my home and where my studio is so I have the pleasure of walking around it often. It is incredibly beautiful in the summer due to the wonderful summer meadow planted by the conservation group The Downlands Trust. I have an open studio the first Saturday of every month so please come and visit me if you can.
