Wild Flora
Inspired by Britain’s hedgerows, roadside verges, wildflowers and forgotten corners of the countryside, these original paintings celebrate the quiet beauty of nature left to flourish.
Original Wild Flora Art
My wild flora work grows from a love of hedgerows, verges, summer meadows and overlooked places. I look for beauty in seed heads, tangled grasses and flowers thriving without fuss. I am especially drawn to places where nature is left to grow freely and find its own rhythm.
This collection develops from my Botanical work and reflects a renewed confidence in my use of media. Through paint, print and mixed media, I explore texture, pattern and delicate structure. My wilding art celebrates the freedom and abundance found in untamed spaces. Sometimes the work feels calm. At other times, it feels joyful and unruly. Ultimately, I want these pieces to honour nature left to flourish in its own way.
I am represented by a select group of galleries across the UK. My paintings are regularly included in gallery collections and exhibitions. Recent highlights include The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle and my Clover wallpaper was shown at Standen House National Trust. in the Future of arts and crafts exhibition.
